Lorna Dakin

I was born in Wem, my parents were not believers but sent me, my sisters and brother to Sunday School every week.  It was here that the Lord showed me my need of a Saviour and at a young age I gave my life to HIm.  I was privileged to grow up in a church with good teaching.
The Lord has made such a difference to my life, He is my friend, my rock, my guide and my comfort.
I left Wem many years ago to study Home Economics, not knowing what the Lord had planned for me and as I look back at the journey I have been on, working as a youth trainer, running a business, raising a family, I can see His hand has been in it all, directing, shaping and hopefully making me more like Him. My desire is to serve Him and to know Him better.
